The following is a statement from GSC Game World:

“More than a year has passed since we first began to experience ongoing intrusions. Blackmail, violent acts, hacks, threats against players and fans, and attempts to harm the development process and our company’s reputation have all been made against us, “The sentence states.

It goes on, “Please don’t watch or share anything about STALKER 2: HEART OF CHORNOBYL if there have been any leaks. The impact of the final notion we have included in the game may be diluted by outdated or work-in-progress content. For the best experience, we advise you to wait patiently for the official release. We think you’ll like it”.

STALKER 2 has experienced numerous delays lately, most recently due to Russia’s continuing invasion of Ukraine. GSC Game World published a YouTube video on the challenges of creating the game during the conflict in June 2022.

December 2023 is the anticipated release date, which is merely a placeholder. The game’s release date is now planned for 2023, according to the information posted on the developer’s official Discord server.
