Dillon Danis took to Twitter to share a bit of a throwback pictur and take a dig at Jon Jones at the same time.
Tweeting on an old picture, Danis said:
“That time a nice boy named Jonathan Dwight Jones asked me for a picture, crazy the little guy is fighting for the heavyweight title of the world tomorrow, good luck kid!”
Danis recently turned heel in the eyes of the public and has apparently embraced it. From trash-talking Jones to absurdly claiming he could beat Francis Ngannou in a street fight, Danis is very outspoken on Twitter. Yet, it has been almost 4 years since we last saw him in the cage.
He was scheduled to take on KSI in a boxing bout, but strangely pulled out, further infuriating the public. While this has irked some other fighters, none of this appears to have bothered Danis, who continues to do the same.
Dillon Danis has made numerous call-outs but is yet to commit to a fight
Dillon Danis took to Twitter to call out many fighters, starting with Paddy Pimblett, to whom Danis issued a bold callout.
“If I don’t finish Paddy Pimblett in under 2 mins, I’ll retire and delete all social media forever.”
Danis also called out KSI, even though he pulled out of their fight, as well as Jake Paul.
Before that, he issued a bold tweet stating that he was the best fighter in the world.
Dillon Danis has infuriated many with his comments, and the reply sections to his tweets are testament to the amount of controversy he has been able to stir. As of the time of writing, he is not currently contracted to the UFC, meaning none of these fights are likely to happen anytime soon.
Dillon Danis, however, hasn’t slowed down on Twitter, and is likely to continue playing the heel. It remains to be seen what his next move is, especially considering how the KSI fight fell through.
