A BALDING bloke decided to try and rescue his receding hairline by getting a fringe tattooed on his forehead.
Gianluca, 26, from Italy, thought he had found the perfect solution to solving his hair loss problem with the bizarre inking.
He had grown tired of his thinned-out tresses and managed to persuade a local tattoo artist to recreate his diminishing hairline.
The bloke tasked Maria Gina Altobelli, 30, with making his fringe dreams come true – but it ended up looking like something out of a nightmare.
She explained that she was initially hesitant to take on the job after questioning how the results would turn out.
But the owner of Gipsy.g Tattoo & Piercing in Fondi, Italy, then threw caution to the wind and got to work on the wacky design.

Maria filmed the process of transforming Gianluca’s hairline, which showed how she sketched out a simple fringe.
She transferred the stencil onto his forehead, before inking each strand directly in front of the remaining hair on his head.
Gianluca is seen wincing as the tattoo needle touches his face, before the artist wipes the area clean for the big reveal.
Maria then leads him towards the mirror as he covered his eyes, excitedly waiting for him to see his new look for the first time.
But it doesn’t seem to be the reaction she was anticipating – as Gianluca immediately covers his head with his hands while he appears to burst into tears.
The 35-second clip then awkwardly ends as Maria tries to corral her client back towards the mirror.
She shared the footage to TikTok, which quickly went viral, explaining she was very proud of her first attempt at a fringe.
Maria said: “Obviously, I was sceptical when he asked me for that tattoo, but in the end, I’m very happy with the work.
“It took us an hour to do it because I’ve been tattooing for six years now, so I’m very fast. I didn’t expect all this virality of the video.”
Social media users weren’t so sure about the success of her inking – with many saying Ginaluca’s balding hair looked better beforehand.
One said: “I hope this is a joke! I didn’t trust the process and I was right.”
Another wrote: “He’s crying because he knew he had made a horrible mistake.”
A third sympathised: “The instant regret when he looked in the mirror.”
A fourth added: “‘I don’t think he’s crying because he’s happy.”
While a fifth joked: “He’s going home to Google laser tattoo removals.”
